This is the mission that Sarovaram Bio Park has undertaken. Situated in Kozhikode district, Sarovaram Biopark primarily aims to conserve mangrove forests and wetlands.

Located near Kottooy, just adjacent to the Canoly Canal, encompasses a protected area of nearly 200 acres. It is a safe haven for various species of plants, birds and animals. 7 mangrove species and 29 related species thrive in the area. 34 different varieties of bird species have been identified in the park. The flora and fauna of the park are diverse and the whole locale is surrounded by lush greenery, which makes it an ideal picnic spot to relax.

Apart from being a blissful retreat, the park also offers various entertainment options such as boating, a canal walkway, a musical fountain, a butterfly park, an otter park, a bird sanctuary, floating rafts, a boardwalk, and an open-air theatre. It’s for sure going to be a day well spent at Sarovaram Bio Park.
